Role on our team

Join our team and work with professionals from the comfort and flexibility of your own home office or potentially a hybrid scenario working in our Stittsville office. This role is a one-year contract, salaried position and is ideal for someone who wants to do positive, interesting work with interesting people. There is an opportunity for a full-time extension for the right candidate. We are growing – our goal is that you would grow with us into a long-term partnership.

What you will be doing

The Sales Development Representative generates qualified and engaged leads for our team.  Researching, prospecting and qualifying contacts for our sales team within verticals such as the private sector, NFP, and the Public Sector. 

In this role, you will be working alongside our corporate business development team, assisting with lead management including a high volume of cold calls and emails to prospective clients, scheduling meetings, tracking leads, client support, and entering detailed information into HubSpot CRM.

Your role will include;

  • Researching, prospecting and qualifying leads in various verticals and geographic locations across Canada.
  • Contact prospects through outbound phone calls
  • Build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
  • Enthusiastically working on outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner.
  • Successfully and accurately answering prospect questions and providing appropriate additional information to the Account Executives.
  • Achieving and exceeding defined KPI goals.

Depending on the skills and interests you bring, there is significant room for growth in this position and organization. Reporting to the VP Corporate, you’ll also benefit from weekly mentoring with our entire team. 

What you bring to the table

  • You are a natural persuader & problem solver
  • You are self-directed – like to be led but not managed 
  • Minimum 2+ years of success in a previous SDR role or B2B sales
  • Listens and understands; has a high drive to connect with individuals; is resilient and solutions-oriented
  • Knowledge of the Federal Government procurement process is an asset
  • Tech-savvy
  • High level of detail orientation
  • Volunteerism & social awareness
  • Bilingual (French/English) is ideal.

Compensation $45,000-$55,000 per year + Commission
