After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s and Gender Studies and Political Science from Carleton University and a Graduate Certificate in Victimology from Algonquin College, Cynthia discovered her passion of working with people through an internship as a Gender and HIV/AIDS Program Coordinator in Malawi. She went on to support victims of crime in Canada’s criminal justice system, acting as an advocate and liaison throughout Ontario. She has always found herself in supportive leadership roles and is excited by roles that foster creativity and innovative ideas.
As a Corporate Development Specialist with Career Joy, Cynthia assists the corporate development team in the expansion of our business, engages with corporate clients, manages projects and works towards continual and maintained growth.
