Chris’ professional background includes 18 years of service as a police officer with the RCMP, where he earned specialized distinction as a Conflict Management Specialist, Certified Crisis Negotiator, and Senior Commander/Leader with the ability to navigate complex situations while achieving successful outcomes. He has also worked as a strategic advisor to the United Nations Operations in the Ivory Coast, tailoring and facilitating specific communication and negotiation strategies to improve outcomes in the midst of violent political conflict.
Within his business leadership acumen, Chris has served as CEO of both public and private companies. He has coached many high-level government and private sector clients in leadership development, strategic communications/negotiations, emotional intelligence, and change management. He has extensive experience conducting breakthrough interest-based (win-win) negotiations in situations of organizational conflict.
