After 32 years of service at the Government of Canada – half of which as an executive –, Chantal is now dedicated to helping people and organizations achieve their goals through training, coaching, and mentoring. With a Professional Coach Certification from the renowned Erickson International, Chantal is currently in the process of obtaining her accreditation from the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Fluently bilingual in English and French, Chantal has worked her way up progressively prominent roles, across multiple government departments with a variety of social and economic agendas. Her broad experience has allowed her to gain a keen understanding of best practices related to program development and operations, policy analysis, and team leadership and management. She has dealt with a variety of HR-related matters encompassing mental health issues, grievances, performance management, and workplace wellness for teams of up to 70 employees. As part of her last position at Employment and Social Development Canada, Chantal has ideated and developed a robust, well-defined action plan that significantly enhanced mental and workplace wellness.
Chantal has earned a strong reputation as an empathetic active listener, a creative problem solver, and an action-oriented leader. First and foremost, she is the proud mother of two daughters who, outside of the time she spends with her family, finds her greatest joy and purpose when she has a positive impact on people’s personal and professional lives!
