[FLR] If you want to be a real leader, quit being fake

For Halloween this year you may have dressed as Tonya Harding, a Fortnite character or maybe Wonder Woman but you most likely did not dress as Donald Trump. These are the trending Halloween costumes according to Google trends. Trump has dropped from in the top 10 in 2017 to 71st this year.

When you dress in a costume you are taking on that person’s persona. This makes me think of the common saying “fake it ’til you make it”

The reality is we all know when people are faking it, especially leaders.

There are multiple styles of leaders and it’s imperative that you be you, not Steve Jobs, Justin Trudeau or another leader.

Be a leader who is authentic.
