Like all leaders, at the beginning of the 2018 you would have created some goals.
As we end the year, we take stock of the previous year to rate ourselves against our objectives. Sometimes you don’t achieve what you hoped for, but oftentimes other, better, things occur. We always have to be honest when we don’t achieve our objectives and ask ourselves what attitudes and behaviours we need to adopt to do better in 2019.
These are the operating system upon which goal setting works. It’s great to have goals. It’s best when those goals are running within the right operating systems of a healthy mindset and mature behaviours.
This year, as you measure your progress look at the results and then evaluate in what ways do you need to improve your mindset and behaviours to achieve all that you desire in this coming year.
2019 is a blank sheet – use it wisely.
