[FLR] | Sad But True Terrible Boss Stories

If you’ve been reading my newsletter consistently you’ll remember that on April 1st this year we ran an April Fool’s #BossAwarenessDay campaign which you can read more about on my blog. For those who didn’t read it the premise was simple: I go public about my flaws as a boss using our Boss Awareness Tool (download the tool – PDF) and invite other bosses to do the same. By sharing their stories as a bad boss they can win leadership coaching.


The campaign  worked because it contained the key truth that bosses aren’t always perfect. The response we received from that campaign was incredible. It struck a cord with bosses who wanted to be better at their job.
Because of the foundation of truth on which our April Fool’s Day was built we’ve decided to really give bosses the opportunity to receive leadership coaching.
