[FLR] Listening is an Overlooked Leadership Tool

Happy Friday,

The people have spoken.

We have made a choice for whom we will be forming our next government. Like all complex choices in life, you will never really know what you have chosen, until you see the impact of this choice upon your life & in this case our country.

According to a Salesforce research report, employees who feel their voice is heard are 4.6 times more likely to do their best work. Voting is about our ability to use our voice to be heard.

It’s what makes a democracy great & what makes for a high functioning organization.

As a leader, you can’t always have a vote about everything like we do in an election But you can offer your team a place & time to share their voice at the table.

“The ear of the leader must ring with the voices of the people.” – Woodrow Wilson
