Happy Friday,
We have three official languages in Canada – French, English & Tim Hortons.
I was taking my parents out for their morning ritual. It’s straightforward, same location, same table and same order at their local Tim Hortons.
In their case, this means two small French vanillas, two everything bagels, one toasted with butter & one toasted with butter on the side. The servers & the owner know my parents by their first name.
Behind our morning rituals at Tim Hortons, a person or group is connecting to discuss the mundane, important news, celebrations, events, hopes, and dreams.
It’s more than just coffee.
I spotted this message on the side of the delivery truck standing outside the local franchise as we left Monday morning, and it struck me.
Great companies like Tim Hortons are built and led with a compelling vision and a strong sense of why they are doing what they are doing.
In this case, they were brewing for Jack & Alice.
What’s yours, why?
Along the road with you.
Alan.
