When I first contacted CareerJoy, I was CEO of another company that was in the process of winding down due to the natural progression of the industry.  I loved my job, and I knew that given my experiences and network, finding “a” job would take time but could be done.  I knew that I could keep doing what I was doing or take the next step, but I wasn’t sure what that next step should be.  I had spoken with another career counselling agency and to me they felt like just that - counselling.  I was not depressed.  What I needed was help to find clarity and direction.  I had heard great things about Alan from my network and decided to give him a call.
 
I felt right away that working with Alan would be good for me.  Right from the initial consultation I could see that he has the ability to get to know someone in a very short period of time.  I felt that Alan understood me and my ambitions, and he was the one who could help me find what I was looking for. 
 
Alan is a great facilitator.  He provided support and challenged my thought processes along the journey.  The entire CareerJoy experience was very enjoyable and rewarding.  I liked the team approach that they take.  Each member of the team brought a different perspective to the process, and this provided a better all around analysis. 
 
The coaching process required a lot of self-reflection into what truly made the experiences in my career and personal life positive or negative.  CareerJoy made this process easier by providing me the right framework to get to know what type of environment I would enjoy most as I took the next step in my ongoing career.  The analysis that was written for me was very accurate.  I was impressed with Cameron’s ability to bring all of my successes and challenges together to outline a road map to success.
 
I was provided the framework that I needed to know what the next step in my career should be.  Alan was a great sounding board and source of support throughout my job search.  He helped me choose the right opportunity for me. 
 
My situation now is similar to that when I started with CareerJoy.  However, through working through CareerJoy’s Career Equation TM, I was able to pinpoint the aspects of my job that I did not like, and those that I was missing.  In my current position, I can honestly say that I have Career Joy!
