Peggy has enjoyed a 20 year career in the Canadian television industry. Now working with Careerjoy, Peggy provides career counseling/professional development for people who are looking to make a meaningful transition in their lives.
Peggy has worked both as an independent producer and director and an in-house producer at the CBC. Her portfolio includes arts documentaries, lifestyle, reality and current affairs programming. In 1998, she won a Gabriel Award for her documentary “Africville” and in 2001, she received honorable mention at the New York Film and Video Festival for her jazz special “Buried Treasures”. Most recently she produced and directed a Life and Times episode for the CBC on Fmr. Governor General, Adrienne Clarkson .
Peggy holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. She also has a Master of Education degree from OISE in the Counseling Psychology program for Community and Educational Settings. Her post-graduate studies were primarily focused on career and solution-focused counseling.
Her community experience includes facilitating workshops at New Directions, an agency in Toronto serving the needs of widowed and divorced women. She has also volunteered at Bayview Hospice and is a member of Greenpeace. Peggy is also a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychometrists.

Stroll along the beach and sit In the shade reading a good book.

My sense of humour.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a writer/journalist.
What’s one of the most daring things you’ve done?
I hitch hiked across Europe when I was 19 by myself….but don't tell my 20 year old daughter that.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Negative people and people who say "I can't" or yes, but….
