Join our team & work with professionals from the comfort & flexibility of your own home office as well as our office in Bells Corners (Ottawa). This role is a full-time salaried position and is ideal for someone who wants to do positive, interesting work with interesting people. Required hours are as follows: Monday, Thursday, Friday: 9 am to 5 pm ET; Tuesday & Wednesdays: 11 am to 7 pm ET.

As a member of the CareerJoy team, you will be the first point of contact in helping to serve a wide group of both individual clients and corporations with career and leadership related goals.

You will be one of the first points of contact for individuals, from students to executive level professionals, who are looking for support with career-related challenges. You will provide for them a needs consultation, seek to understand their individual challenges and goals, and deliver information regarding CareerJoy programs and support options.

You will schedule meetings, track leads, and input detailed information into the Salesforce CRM. You will also assist with writing and editing proposals and other sales & communications documents, run & summarize Salesforce reports, and complete other projects on an as needed basis. Depending on the skills and interests you bring, there is significant room for growth in this position and organization.

You have superb verbal and written communication skills and have an intuitive understanding of computers and many software programs, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

You genuinely enjoy people, you love serving people, and you see yourself as an influencer – someone who provides interesting and relevant information to your peer group.

You are comfortable conversing with a broad range of individuals, including senior level professionals.

You are a natural problem solver, and pride yourself on your time management skills.
